Beach Driving

As most of you know, we do a fair bit of driving on the beach, Fishing, Opinel product shoots and exploring.

Here is our top tips for driving on the beach.

1. Momentum. Alway keep the wheels rolling. No need to speed.

2. Tire pressure. I start at 24PSI and then lower it to 18PSI if needed. If it has not rained in a while the sand will be very soft

3.Don't speed.

4.When approaching another vehicle head on, indicate which side you will be traveling when passing.

5. Collect rubbish. Turtles are quite blind and anything blue they try to eat thinking they are jellyfish.

6. Park 90 degrees to the ocean. When you leave it will create a path for baby turtles to travel to the dunes at night.
